This Jin Chan (money frog) carving is so cute! This money frog is carved from reconstituted tagua nut (otherwise known as ivory nut for its ability to replace real ivory as a sustainable carving material). It is approximately 6cm long and weighs approximately 60g. This listing is for one (1) money frog. The one you receive may or may not be the exact one pictured.

Vegetable ivory or tagua nut is a product made from the very hard white endosperm of the seeds of certain palm trees. It's known as the “vegan ivory” because it is a sustainable (and humane) carving alternative to real ivory.

Money Frogs, also known as Jin Chan, are used as a feng shui adjustment to attract wealth and prosperity. Typically, the frog sits on a gold ingot, a coin, or a bed of coins. Sometimes strings of coins trail from its mouth, but money frogs usually have one large coin in its mouth. The correct placement for the Money Frog is near the house entrance. If it is an office where you wish to keep the Lucky Toad, make sure you keep it in the wealth corner. The wealth area of your home is connected to abundance and prosperity. You can find this area by standing at the front door of your home, looking in. The southeast corner of your house is the wealth position. You can also have a money frog on your desk to activate your career (attract more prosperity and income). It is recommended that you own money frogs in multiples of three, but no more than nine.
